Your mission

We are building the future of 5G connectivity in space. As part of Aerospacelab, you will play a key role in analyzing and contributing to the evolution of 3GPP standards, with a focus on Non-Terrestrial Networks. Your insights will guide our technical roadmap and ensure alignment with global standardization efforts.

Duties

  • Analyze 3GPP 5G NR specifications, with emphasis on NTN-related features and system behavior
  • Contribute to 3GPP working groups and standardization activities, representing Aerospacelab’s technical interests
  • Track and interpret ongoing developments in 3GPP Rel-17+ and beyond
  • Provide internal guidance on standard compliance and implementation strategies
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to translate standards into clear system and software requirements
  • Support the definition of Aerospacelab-specific enhancements aligned with 3GPP evolution
  • Maintain documentation and internal knowledge base on relevant standards and contributions

Must have

  • Deep expertise in 3GPP 5G NR standards
  • Prior experience contributing to 3GPP working groups or similar standardization bodies
  • Strong understanding of RAN protocol stack architecture
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex technical material

Nice to Have

  • Experience with satellite communications and NTN system design
  • Experience in embedded software development or software architecture
  • Experience in product ownership or product management in a technical domain
