Senior Accountant

Reporting to the Head of Finance and working alongside two Senior Accountants in a growing team, you will own the bookkeeping of some of our affiliates in close collaboration with the local controller. Beyond day-to-day accounting, you will shape how our Finance function scales — building controls, standardising practices and digitalising the way we work.

We expect you to be curious, pragmatic, accurate and proactive: someone who challenges the status quo and brings concrete improvements to the table.

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations: purchase-to-pay, payroll bookings, credit card transactions and employee expense reports
• Follow up on financial operations, including bank reconciliations
• Prepare and submit VAT, Intrastat and Intracom declarations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual closings, and statutory annual accounts
• Support the annual audit and contribute to consolidation activities
• Drive continuous improvement of accounting processes — building controls, standardising workflows and digitalising tools
• Contribute to the transformation of the Finance team as Aerospacelab scales

We are looking for someone who brings:

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting, ideally in a fast-growing environment
• Fluency in French and English, written and spoken
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• An open, pragmatic and dynamic mindset
• A structured and organised approach to your work
• The autonomy to take ownership and the appetite for responsibility
• The ability to build relationships easily across all levels of the organisation

• Previous experience in a scale-up environment
• Exposure to an industrial sector — space, aviation or production is a strong asset
• Hands-on experience with Odoo
