About Aerospacelab
Our mission is supported by an ambitious vertically integrated approach: design & manufacture of small satellites combined with development of earth observation services.
Since its creation in 2018, the company has already grown substantially. Our team gathers more than 25 engineering expertise, from hardware design to software development & data science.
In 2026, Aerospacelab counts offices in Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium), Toulouse (France), Lausanne (Switzerland) and US West Coast with more than 400 full-time employees, with the ambition to position itself as the European leader in small satellites.
Your mission
Reporting to the Head of Finance and working alongside two Senior Accountants in a growing team, you will own the bookkeeping of some of our affiliates in close collaboration with the local controller. Beyond day-to-day accounting, you will shape how our Finance function scales — building controls, standardising practices and digitalising the way we work.
We expect you to be curious, pragmatic, accurate and proactive: someone who challenges the status quo and brings concrete improvements to the table.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations: purchase-to-pay, payroll bookings, credit card transactions and employee expense reports
- Follow up on financial operations, including bank reconciliations
- Prepare and submit VAT, Intrastat and Intracom declarations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual closings, and statutory annual accounts
- Support the annual audit and contribute to consolidation activities
- Drive continuous improvement of accounting processes — building controls, standardising workflows and digitalising tools
- Contribute to the transformation of the Finance team as Aerospacelab scales

We are looking for someone who brings:
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting, ideally in a fast-growing environment
- Fluency in French and English, written and spoken
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- An open, pragmatic and dynamic mindset
- A structured and organised approach to your work
- The autonomy to take ownership and the appetite for responsibility
- The ability to build relationships easily across all levels of the organisation
Nice to have
