About Aerospacelab
Our mission is supported by an ambitious vertically integrated approach: design & manufacture of small satellites combined with development of earth observation services.
Since its creation in 2018, the company has already grown substantially. Our team gathers more than 25 engineering expertise, from hardware design to software development & data science.
In 2025, Aerospacelab counts offices in Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium), Toulouse (France), Lausanne (Switzerland) and US West Coast with more than 350 full-time employees, with the ambition to position itself as the European leader in small satellites.
Role overview
- Support development, implementation, and monitoring of the company’s product assurance strategy
- Support project requirements definition
- Implement and monitor company’s product assurance strategy in projects
- Track and manage all anomalies, NCRs, RFDs and RFWs during product development and manufacturing cycle
- Support the collection of lessons learned after major mission phases and ensure their implementation
- Organize and participate in development reviews and monitor product compliance with the customer requirements
- Perform PA support to all activities during product’s AIT
- Keep up-to-date the project PA documentation and support the process improvement across the company
- Being PA point of contact for the customers
- Verify that "Off the Shelf" products are compliant with their specifications
Must have
- MSc or PhD degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field or equivalent by experience in product assurance discipline
- 3+ years of experience as Product Assurance or Quality Assurance engineer
- Good interpersonal, organization and communication skills, with the ability to work in a diverse team environment
- Very good organization skills and ability to prioritize and manage several activities in parallel
- Thoroughness
- Ability to develop good knowledge in the different product assurance disciplines as required
- Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Good English knowledge
Nice to have
- Familiarity with ECSS/ISO 9001 standards
- Experience in aerospace processes management
- Experience in documentation management process
- Experience in reading and interpreting technical schematics
