Role Overview
Aerospacelab recently signed a major Telecommunication contract and is looking to strengthen its Procurement & Supply chain team with a supplier management officer.
Your main responsibilities are
- To ensure a relation of trust with our local & international EEE parts & PCB suppliers
- To ensure full deliveries on-time & on-quality
- To identify critical paths for the delivery to our Customer
Key Activities
- Setting-up up the relevant quality check at supplier
- Verifying Certificate of conformance, traceability of parts
- Following-up all the nonconformances on delivered parts + ensuring correctives actions are implemented
- Help setting up supplier evaluation
Issue Purchase Order (PO) to suppliers based on the manufacturing need & on existing contracts
You set-up relevant follow-up with supplier to ensure the order is delivered on time, on quality & in-full
Support the quality and engineering team for space qualifications of our EEE parts & PCBs (Radiation test, constructional analysis, ….)
Support the supplier in the validation of their special process??
Act as a direct delegate of our quality department by
Set-up KPI to follow supplier performance & organize audit at the supplier
Monitor the supplier capacity and ensure it stays coherent with our order volume
Ensure the ERP is up-to-date with correct qty and delivery date, using the info received by the suppliers
Identify day-to-day procurement issues and set-up relevant solutions
You have a central position in the company in interaction with: project, production, quality, industrialization
Must have
- Master/Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply chain, or equivalent by experience
- Experience in an Electronic industry
- 2-5 years of experience in a similar position
- Fluent in English
- Excel proficiency
- Autonomous & independent
- Assertive
- Diligent
Nice to Have
- Experience in space or automotive industry
- Odoo knowledge
